Japanese and Chinese medicine have been using mint for the past two thousand years. Indonesia and Africa are the most developed countries for mint cultivation, but the plant grows more commonly in warmer regions. Apart from this, mint is also widely cultivated in Pakistan and Kashmir.

Uses of mint 

Fresh and dried mint is used in chutneys and jellies. It is added to food to enhance the taste and flavor of food. Peppermint oil chewing gum toothpaste is widely used in confectionery and medicine as it is used in many products and tested for mint. Mint is also useful for the treatment of various diseses, so it should be taught and kept at home. 

Using mint for respiratory ailments 

Mint is very beneficial for asthma. Ancient sages used to give mint to patients to prevent asthma. By which the obstruction of the respiratory tract was removed and breathing became easier. It energize the lungs and eliminates germs. Using mint removes bad breath and thins saliva. Take one spoonful of pure mint juice mixed well with two spoonfuls of vinegar, two spoonfuls of honey and four ounces of carrot juice. Use mint medicine three of four times in a day cure tuberculosis and all. Peppermint is useful to avoid the harmful effects of tuberculosis treatment drugs.

Uses of mint for heart diseases

A spoonful of mint juice mixed with a spoonful of lemon juice and honey to taste can help relieve bad gas and summer diarrhea. This drink must be drunk three or four times a day. Drinking mint leaves mixed with fennel water improves digestion. Boiling mint in milk or tea and drinking it hot or lukewarm cures stomach ache. Peppermint is a good remedy for stomach pain caused by indigestion. If a child suffering from stomach ache is given a quarter teaspoon of peppermint to be chewed and passed out with water, he will recover very quickly. Often we have heard that small children get worms in their stomachs by using mint, stomach worms in children are eliminated quickly. 

Toothache treatment with mint leaves

The use of mint is very useful for inflammation of the gums or bleeding from the teeth, toothache and weak teeth. Some toothpaste companies also include mint leaves in their toothpaste because it is very beneficial for dental health.
