Ginger should be used in cough. Sometimes, it even benefits asthma.

Ginger is used internally as poultices, tablets, jams, pickles, and ointments. Its oil is used externally by zimaad tila (ointments) or pullets. So that the body remains cold, even if numbness increases, it is given to patients internally and externally in joint diseases. By stimulating the skin, blood circulation is accelerated, and diseases are removed.

Sonth is made by drying ginger in a particular way. By eating it, gas is released, appetite is increased, and memory is sharpened. Arthritis and back pain are relieved. A little bit of crushed sonth (dried ginger) mixed with jaggery and eaten little by little reduces the cold; that is why, in winter, pudding or sweets are usually eaten with a bit of ginger or sonth (dried ginger). Sonth (dried ginger) does not help. Mix a spoonful of crushed sonth (dried ginger) with half a spoonful of crushed black salt, and keep it in a glass bowl. Squeeze lemon so that the safoof (powder) gets soaked in juice. When it is dry, turn it upside to down and add lemon juice. So this three times and save the safoof (powdered). Its dosage is a pinch, around one gram. Eating this safoof (powder) after will make you hungry. Abdominal pain and bloating will go away. If it is 100 grams of sonth (dried ginger), take 20 grams of black salt. Similarly, grind 50 grams of sonth (dried ginger) and mix it with 100 grams of honey. Eat three grams in the morning and evening; This will speed up the memory. Remembrance will be better. If there is pain in the back, it will also decrease; this is a tried-and-tested tip for women. People who cannot digest milk get bloated after drinking milk, have diarrhea, and add a small piece of sugar while boiling milk. In villages, they keep a small amount of sonth (dried ginger) in their mouth in case of toothache. Sofof digestion is made at home as follows:

Unnatural vinegar will do more harm than good.

If you grind ginger and apply it on the lips with water, the chapping of the lips will be cured. The snuff of sonth (dried ginger) relieves nasal congestion by releasing nasal secretions and sneezing.

Grinding ginger and black pepper and Applying on the teeth cures toothache. If mustard oil is mixed with salt and sonth (dried ginger) and applied to the teeth, the teeth become clean and shiny. Using this mixture dissolves the clotted milk and makes it flow for women with infants and milk clots in their mouths and pain. Putting a piece of the antimony and applying it to the eye is beneficial. Rubbing a piece of ginger in olive oil on the edges of the eyelids is helpful for women.

If small children have a stomach ache, make small etuis of sonth (dried ginger), mix oil under the stomach, and rub it with the etuis; it will relieve. Mix a small amount of asafoetida with oil and rub it on the lower abdomen; it releases gas. Put the etuis on your hand and see; it should be slightly warm, not too much. Even today, housewives try these tips.

Grate fresh ginger, extract its juice, mix it with olive oil, and cook. When the water dries up, keep the oil; it is helpful for pain and lumps. Add the same amount of oil to a cup of juice. You can also add sesame oil. Useful in all types of aching pain. If there is a pain in the body due to cold, apply this oil. If you have severe pain in the head due to a cold, massage the conniptions. By using this oil on children's chests, their chest stays warm. If you take some fresh ginger mixed with jaggery and eat it, it will protect you from cold.
